I think Isaacman has proposed a good lunar plan overall but the timelines are very ambitious and may be delayed by a year or more

On March 24, NASA announced an ambitious, detailed and long awaited significant enhancement and complete overhaul to Project Artemis plans to return human to the lunar surface 1st time in >50 years.

The new Moon exploration plan was announced by new NASA Administrator at a live event named “Project Ignition” broadcast all day at NASA+ starting 9 AM

Ignition involves an new American space exploration  event that involves the start of a building a Moonbase at lunar south pole!!

The Moonbase will be built in 3 phases!!  Over a 7 year period starting with the first human lunar landing in 2028 at a cost of $20 Billion

Launch of Artemis II is targeted for as early as Wednesday, April 1 at 6:24 PM thru 8:24 PM.

The early April launch window includes a total of six opportunities every day through Monday, April 6.

Artemis II will send NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, along with CSA (Canadian Space Agency) astronaut Jeremy Hansen, on an approximately 10-day mission around the Moon and back, marking the first crewed flight of the Artemis program.

They will travel 500,000 miles in a loop around the Moon – farther than any human before
