TITUSVILLE, FL – On Aug. 21, I was interviewed live on FOX 35 Orlando about President Trump’s Administrations new plan to get to 3 rocket launches per day in America
On a few minutes notice for the live interview, we discussed the Trump administration new space policy directive seeking to implement 1000 rocket launches per year by 2030.
They also want to relax many environmental protection regulations.
I said this will be a tough slog to achieve 1000 launches pre year in just 4 years – but an increased cadence is certainly possible if a USA wide approach is implemented to build new launch sites.
This must and can be done in an environmentally responsible way.
Bipartisanship is required to achieve this ambitious launch goal. Also, extensive work will be required to minimize the impact on airspace closures, resident and tourist flights and more.
Full Funding for NASA, science, cancer and medical and technology research will be required to design, build and safely launch all those new satellites that would be launched.

Earlier this week I was again interviewed live on Fox 35 about SpaceX record breaking launch cadence of 2 Falcon 9s launched just 38.5 minutes apart
The two launches took places this past Sat Aug 15 with bicoastal liftoffs of their Falcon 9 rocket just 38.5 minutes apart from the Florida Space Coast and California.
Also the launch and landing on Aug 15 at pad 40 on Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and what that was like.

On Aug 19 Fox 35 and Aug 20 ABC News Orlando I was interviewed about the sad end to NASA mission to rescue the NASA Swift space telescope. The plan to save it with reboost by LINK experimental spacecraft was called off today because LINK is suffering from excessive rotation and can’t grapple Swift safely
