KENNEDY SPACE CENTER/TITUSVILLE, FL – I was interviewed live on FOX 35 Orlando on 2 April 2026 about NASAs historic Artemis II moonshot mission propelling 4 astronauts on a lunar flyby during the 10 day test flight mission.
Artemis II got underway with the thunderous liftoff of the 32-story tall SLS mega moon rocket and Orion Crew spacecraft at 6:35 p.m. ET, April 1.
We discussed the exciting launch, what’s this test flight all about and the upcoming decision on NASA giving the GO for TLI or Trans Lunar injection burn at 7:49 p.m. ET this evening April 2.
The successful and critical TLI burn will send the 1st crew of humans to the moon in over half a century!!

Fox 35 Orlando also featured several of my Artemis II launch photos during the live interview
The crew of Artemis II are now on their way to the Moon! – commencing an exciting history making voyage that makes them the first humans to leave our home planet Earth since NASA’s Apollo 17 moon landing mission in Dec. 1972
Thus begins an approximately 10-day slingshot mission on a trajectory around the Moon and back for the Artemis II crew comprising NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and CSA (Canadian Space Agency) astronaut Jeremy Hansen.
